Meet Taurus...a 1.5 year old orange and white male cat. From the moment we met him, Taurus lived up to his name. After his owner's abondoned him (and 3 other cats when they were evicted), he was very determined that he wasn't going to be evicted too. After several attempts he was able to be put into a carrier. Right now he is still acclimating to his new environment. He spends his days lying around in either a cat bed or cat tower. Although, he does not seek out attention, as soon as you sit next to him, he'll lean in for pets. One way to Taurus' heart is tempation treats - he LOVES them!! Taurus is currently sharing space with a couple other laid back cats (including Leo was who he was rescued with). We feel that Taurus would be okay with another cat with a similar demeanor to him. With a patient adoptor, we know Taurus will continue to come out of his shell. Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Bolton, CTAdoption Fee: $250##1951711##Adoption processAdoptions need to complete our adoption application and once received, our Adoption Counselor will call you to discuss your application to get to know you and your family. We will conduct a home visit and call your vet for a reference. Once you application is approved, you are able to meet the animal (s) you are interested in. If it's a match, you will need to sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.Shelter locationWe are a foster-based organization and do not have a brick and mortar building. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a mutually agreeable time for you to meet the animal (s) you are interested in.
