May, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Mesa, Arizona

May was rescued after she'd been abandoned for who knows how long. She came to us very confused & scared, giving birth within hours of her arrival. She's a sweet girl, but still hesitant & leery. We'll never know what she went through all that time out there alone just trying to survive. She's talkative, letting you know when she wants her treats & she especially loves her chin rubs, chattering at her humans until she gets them. If you have a cat that needs a buddy, May is definitely your girl. She loves other cats, immediately looking to snuggle up to them. Even if they hiss at her, she'll just walk away. Because she was abandoned outdoors, she does spook very easily. She'll need a quiet home that's willing to take the time and have the patience and love to let her shine, someone that won't give up on her, has that magic touch with challenge. She doesn't like to be picked up, but has never shown any signs of aggression. She's spayed, vaccinated, & microchipped, ready to find her special forever person.Adoption processPhone interviews before allowing meeting of the animal. If it all works out a home check is done & contract signed. I prefer to do 2 week trial adoptions to be sure it's the right fit. My animals can be returned to me at any time for any reason.
