Price:
$175
Location:
Dalzell, SC
Description:

Meet Elvira, the adorable black female cat with a captivating charm! Elvira is a sleek and elegant feline, with jet-black fur that gleams like polished ebony in the sunlight. Her bright green eyes sparkle with intelligence and curiosity, adding to her mysterious allure. Every morning, Elvira wakes up with a graceful stretch, ready to start her day with poise and confidence. After a quick grooming session to ensure her coat is impeccable, she sets out to explore her surroundings with quiet determination, her tail held high in pride. Elvira's favorite pastime is lounging in sunlit spots, her glossy fur soaking up the warmth as she observes the world with a sense of serene contentment. She enjoys watching birds flit by outside the window, her keen eyes following their every move with quiet fascination. But Elvira isn't just about relaxation; she also has a playful side hidden beneath her dignified exterior. She enjoys batting at feather toys and chasing after elusive shadows, her graceful movements a testament to her natural feline grace and agility. If you are interesting in meeting any of our pets, the process is to complete an application. It can be downloaded as a pdf document from our website and submitted by email to XXXX@gmail.com as a scanned document or as photos OR can be completed entirely online. Both links are in the header of our website. Because we are foster based, we require an approved application to schedule a meet and greet. We feel that is fair to our fosters and rescues so every meet and greet can result in an adoption. A limited number of cats are showcased at Peetco in Sumter, SC weekly. We do not have set adoption fees for dogs, but hope adopters will donate generously so we can rescue more. The medical care for every dog can easily exceed the adoption donation. Average adoption fees for dogs in the area range from $175 up to $450. Your generous adoption donations help us continue our programs of providing quality food and medical care to those who pass through our fosters. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of $70 for cats who are not yet altered and $100 for cats who are already spayed or neutered, regardless of age. Please bring your own carrier for the ride home! Each cat is up to date on vaccinations, dewormer, and microchipped. Larger donations are always welcome so we can rescue more. Medical care for each cat easily exceeds the minimum donation. As with every rescue, our resources are limited and the need for rescue help is unlimited. Your generosity helps us to rescue more and funds the only Trap Neuter Return Program in the county. It's like tossing $100 bills in the woods when we trap a cat, vaccinate and spay or neuter that cat and then return them to the colony. Young kittens are tamed and available for adoption. We are alone doing this in our area. Your increased donation at the time of adoption can help us cover costs for the cat becoming part of your family as well as a feral to prevent more feral litters. Adopting or fostering for a rescue frees up a space where a new rescue can reside. If you can't adopt or foster, than please consider donating. February 16, 2024, 2:47 pmAdoption processPotential adopters complete an adoption application and all animals in the household attend a meet & greet once vet references and a home visit is complete. Fees are negotiable, but a non-refundable donation is required. Follow ups and access to a dog behaviorist/trainer is encouraged. A finalized adoption contract is required. Our rescue is an all volunteer organization and many of our volunteers are employed full time elsewhere. Please be patient for someone to contact you or return your call. Thank you.Shelter locationMeet and greets for dogs are by appointment only. Cats and kitten are at Petco in Sumter every Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday during open hours.
