Meet Tom! This handsome boy was abandoned in rural Texas at a state park. A Good Samaritan picked him up and brought him to safety! He likes other cats, is pretty calm, and is just looking for someone to love, adore and play with.Here's what his foster had to say!:"I am fostering Tom, is doing amazing! I sooo wish I could keep him forever, but my allergies are getting worse. In case you wanted some info for your Instagram site, here is what I can say about him-When we got him home from the shelter, he was very skittish and hid under the couch for two days. Little by little he ventured out, and by the 4th or 5th day, he was out and about. He comes up to us and asks for scratches with the faintest, sweetest meow I have ever heard! He loves to follow us around the house, but doesn't like (yet) to be picked up. He doesn't scratch furniture or chew on anything, has impeccable manners and loves to play. He is fully potty trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. I so wish we could keep him!I don't know if this kitty would do well in a household with small children or dogs, as he seems to be skittish of fast movements or loud sounds, but he does love attention and scratches and treats. I would love to see him go to a home where someone there most of the day. He loves attention and follow us around the house begging for scratches! My favorite thing about him is that every time he comes near us, whether we are scratching him or not, he is always making biscuits with his paws.
