Hi I'm Patches! I had a rough start in life and was rescued by my friends at the SPCA. I am a gentle girl and am a little shy at first but open up once I get to know you. I love to meet new people but they should go slowly with me as I can still be nervous meeting strangers. I need a cat savvy adopter who will know how to interact with me. I would love a calm and quiet home that will give me time to get comfortable with my new surroundings. Treats, toys, cat beds and cat trees are great too!I have always had feline friends so it is a requirement that I have a confident feline friend already in the home to help me understand how to be a loved house kitty!Kids are great but little ones are too much for me. I would most likely do best in a home with children over the age of 15. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies 0-6 months: $150Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75CHECK WEBSITE FOR CURRENT SPECIALS The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
