Kersey is one of many kittens that are abandoned each year ~ some place. This little girl was scared because she didn't think she could trust humans. Kersey has come a long way and is doing so great with all her new friends. She is for sure a "black beauty" and is now ready to find a super loving home to call her own forever. Come meet Kersey and fall in love.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.Adoption processTour/Adoption Hours: Fridays: 3pm – 5pmSaturdays: 11am – 2pm During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
