Angelic Lorna came to LCCR with newborn kitties. A LCCR foster mom was in the area picking up a different set of mother and kittens. While getting them situated for transport, Lorna brought over one of her three newborns to the foster mom and placed it right on her foot, as if to say, “Could you be a dear, please, and help me and my babies?” She showed the way to her other two babies, and the rest is history! Estimated to still be under a year old when her babies were born, Lorna demonstrated tremendous maternal instincts! Her gratitude after being rescued was immediately clear. Although the early days of raising newborns can be filled with stress and fatigue, Lorna spent these days purring constantly and kneading her paws while nursing her little ones! She was so happy and relieved to know that she and her kittens were safe. Now that her three boys are growing older and becoming more independent, she is more than happy to bring back out her playful side! After all, she is still very young! Interactive toys are her favorite, such as the laser-pointer and wand toys. However, she can absolutely entertain herself with any and all plush toys, too! She is extremely outgoing and loves to hold a conversation with humans. She responds in chirps, trills, and purrs. She is fiercely loyal and loves making new friends. She is very patient with kids, too!
