Meet Gru! Gru needs some time to settle in but once comfortable, Gru is a very big snuggler who slept close to the foster every night without moving an inch for hours and who wanted to join her whenever she moved to another room for a longer period. He is the sweetest cat that just wants company, a few cozy spots, some cuddles and some string toys to chase. He has the softest coat. He has excellent litterbox manners given a clean litter box, is not begging for food or treats and he only eats out of his assigned food bowl and does not touch the food of his cat friend. Due to a lifelong bladder condition, he is on a non-prescription urinary diet consisting of dry food only and eats little to no treats which makes feeding him easy. An old hind leg injury that caused lameness has improved significantly and he was able to jump up a high bed and chase after a fluffy worm on a cat fishing pole. Also, due to his great care at his foster home, he has been able to slowly lose weight. A helpful tip for his future adopters is that he is very anxious when put into a carrier so the bigger the better and would recommend possibly getting him Calming Chews or some form of anxiety relief for when he does have to be in his carrier for more than 10 minutes (most specifically with car rides).Gru is just a wonderful, sweet cat and just a really precious boy.
