Meet Boomer! Boomer is one of the most mild-mannered cats that you will ever meet. He eats, sleeps and cuddles throughout the day. He is always ready to greet you upon your arrival with some delightful conversation and some good yoga stretches! Boomer would prefer a quieter home environment and would do well with older children. As he loves every human he has ever met, he would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the day. He has such a laidback personality that he will most likely get along with another cat, and perhaps a dog, if given the right introduction. He will also shine brightly as the only pet in your home! This young man does have some gastrointestinal issues and needs to be on a special raw diet. He LOVES his raw food and it has resolved his issues! He will need to continue on this diet Boomer is quite the lap cat and a great office buddy during the day! He tends to be pretty independent through the middle of the night, which is a huge plus as we all love an uninterrupted good night's sleep, including Boomer. He is always welcoming to strangers and is eager to cuddle up to the closest warm lap in the room! He also enjoys his window watching time and is fascinated by all the sights he is able to see below. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
