Peaches - somehow wandered away from her original owner, but found her fosters, who saw her sweetness behind a scared hissing kitty front. She is a young adult spayed female who really loves the pampered indoor life. Once she trusts you, she is very affectionate and will enjoy sitting on your lap and looking up at you adoringly with her pretty green eyes while you talk and sing to her. She is perfectly okay with being alone during the day, loves a warm spot to hang out. She enjoys toy springs and catnip toys, and loves to watch bird videos on a phone or tablet! She might settle for watching TV with someone special. Peaches has excellent litter box habits, and will scratch where you show her she is allowed to scratch.Other info (for prospective owner):- Peaches has refused all wet cat food, but loves Iams indoor dry food. She will eat dry food in excess. Overfeeding will cause loose stools. Recommend measured portions of a good quality dry food and plenty of fresh water. She likes Temptations Creamy Dairy treats.- Peaches hisses when she is scared, and is somewhat territorial when around other cats (only have seen interaction with established family of neutered males). Little progress has been made after four months of interacting with them. Still some growling and swatting for apparently no reason; some good days, but she is SO MUCH nicer with only humans around! Interaction with dogs - unknown.
