Vireo, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In New York, New York

Price:
$150
Location:
New York, NY
Description:

Looking for a bird of a feather to flock together with? Vireo may be the kitty for you! Here at the Adoption Center, Vireo has been winging her way up the ranks and is ready to meet her new family! She would like an adopter who can be patient and give her the time and space she needs to adjust to a new home and learn that the world isn’t so scary. Yummy treats and play sessions with wand toys help Vireo build her confidence and are sure ways to get her to show you her playful side! Vireo does best when she isn’t approached directly but is given the chance to approach someone on her own terms. Adopters should allow her to give affection at her own pace and avoid forced interactions. That will help her feel comfortable approaching you for affection when the time is right. Vireo also loves curling up in cozy spaces. Lots of secluded spots with blankets would make her feel safe and happy! Vireo can’t wait to leave the nest here at the Adoption Center—she’s looking forward to going home with her new family! Vireo needs to be the only cat in the home. It is unknown how Vireo would do with dogs. A Matchmaker can help with tips to set Vireo up for success in your home! Are you ready for Vireo to take flight with you? Click the “Adopt Me” button to submit an application here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/3c5f865b-d514-4dfc-a40b-2fff2cc656dc *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals.
