Dakota came to the rescue as a kitten over 2 years ago with her sister. They were not sociable and disliked the Petsmart environment so after a while we just stopped taking them. Recently, during vaccine updates we noticed Dakota seemed much more friendly and loving so she is back on the list and available. She has waited a long time.Adoption processCall (352) 284-XXXX if you are interested in adopting one of our cats. Initially, we interview you to see if you are a good fit for one of our animals and, if you are, we arrange for you to meet them. After, you will fill out an application with an adoption fee that is typically $50 - $90; this covers the animal's spay/neuter, combo test, and all it's first-year shots plus it's microchip. All our animals get flea and worm treatments as well. If they are very young when adopted and still need any shots we complete them for you after the adoption at no additional cost to you. Please note that we may request a home visit at some point to see how animals are adjusting to their new environments after you bring them home.
