Meet Tank. He is the most people-loving cat that can never get enough attention. He was found by a good Samaritan in East liberty and was treated for a minor wound on his paw. Since then, Tank has instantly warmed up to everyone he meets. Tank absolutely loves butt scratches and belly rubs, and will often roll around or grab your hand for more pets. In his downtime, he loves to relax on the couch arm or rest beside his favorite human's head. He is even comfortable with water and might enjoy playing with toy fish! Tank may get along with other Felv+ cats, though he tends to be aggressive during mealtime and therefore benefits from separate feeding from the other cats. Food insecurity behavior is very common in previously outdoor cats and will keep improving as Tank continues to enjoy his new, well-fed indoor life! Tank is about 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV negative and FeLV positive (confirmed via qPCR). Tank has been diagnosed with later stage kidney disease and non-regenerative anemia. His kidney disease is currently well managed with kidney specific diet and sub q fluids.
