Kizmit, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Dundee, Michigan

Price:
$85
Location:
Dundee, MI
Description:

Kizmit is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), male, DOB: 6/14/19. Friendly and social with all, even a little outgoing once he’s comfortable, Kizmit is an extremely affectionate and loving cat who enthusiastically offers and welcomes attention from his favorite people. With a sweet-nature and delightfully charming personality, Kizmit captivates all with that wide-eyed expression of innocence and wonder. And while certainly having a mode best described as “mischievous imp,” this handsome boy loves to be talked to and to talk back when the mood suits him. The only survivor of his litter, this once fragile and hesitant cat spent the first weeks of his life shadowing his mom, Namora. Drawing him out of his comfort zone and away from his mom took some time and doing, but we never doubted his feline curiosity would win-out and it certainly did. A more seasoned cat now, Kizmit still has that kitten-like curiosity and enjoys adventurous exploring and playing with toys on his own and with his people. More looking to operate in his comfort zone than having reservations or being shy, Kizmit is a confident, playful, and sincere guy – and just darn happy to be in the company of people. As gentle as they come and definitely a sensitive feline, he, like so many of our felines, is a total people-cat. Sole survivor of a litter of three, Kizmit came to Monroe SPCA along with his mom, Namora from one of our veterinarians because of being sick and malnourished - all abandoned. Kizmit has been treated for anemia, URI, Giardia, Coccidia, ear-mites, fleas, and Roundworm while with us. Now a healthy, happy cat, Kizmit is looking for a forever family to welcome and embrace him as a life-long, beloved companion and family member. Kizmit is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6). He is comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into her new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. Kizmit currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above. All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00.
