Maila Nurmi is a shy and sweet young adult cat. Once Maila warms up to you, she loves pets. Born in 2019, she is a very big fan of bouncy balls. Every HHFC cat or kitten is spayed/neutered prior to adoption, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Visit Harmony House, Chicago's eco-friendly Platinum LEED shelter, and choose from all the cats and kittens in our relaxed, cageless atmosphere. Adopters are scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon by appointment after an online adoption application has been reviewed and approved. All members of the household must be present at the adoption appointment. All Harmony House adopters must be 21 years or older, be able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide veterinary treatment and proper care for your cat, live in a house, condo, or apartment where cats are welcome, and have telephone or cellphone service. The adopter must present1) A government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state photo ID, or passport to verify your age2) A copy of a current bill or statement to verify your current address. This can be a utility bill, credit card statement, or bank statement.
