I was transferred to Great Plains SPCA from another shelter, bring quite a bit of chaos to my world. But Iandamp;#39;m slowly learning that the staff here are incredibly kind, and Iandamp;#39;ve started coming out to visit my favorite people.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;What would really help me adjust to your home is another cat! Whether that be one of my current friends in the Sun Room, or one of your own, I thrive around other confident cats that can show me the ropes. I currently have a best friend named Thelma that I love to cuddle with. We are reserving Mondays and Tuesdays for appointments for members of the public who are immunocompromised or are still uncomfortable being in large crowds due to COVID-19. Adoption Requirements:- Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.- Adopters must complete a survey and present photo identification to meet any of our animals.- For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets.- Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $350. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.Shelter locationWe are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 12-7PM. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18.-Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings.
