Booker is one big laid-back cat. He loves a good stretch and a pet. He's getting neutered August 15th then will be available for adoption. DOB 7-21-2021POSTED JULY 25, 2023Booker got neutered today! He says he is ready to be a part of your family.UPDATED AUGUST 15, 2023Booker was limping. He made a trip to our vet for xrays and they showed he has a break in his left hip. He had surgery today to repair that and should be good as new soon.UPDATED SEPTEMBER 21, 2023Booker gets his stitches out today and says he is ready to lounge in your home. He has been such a trooper with his hip. He looks at you with those big eyes and snuggles right into your lap. What a sweet guy!UPDATED OCTOBER 2, 2023Poor Booker just can't catch a break. One of the fiesty cats at the shelter attacked him and broke his front leg. The vet inserted a pin and once he's healed the pin will be removed. He is currently in a foster home until his recovery is complete. You will be contacted by telephone regarding the status of your application.**Please do not submit your application from a phone as it does not always go through.** You may always reach out to ensure your application went through.Adoption processAdoption fees are senior cats (8yrs and older), cats $60, unaltered kittens $75 (plus $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit), senior dogs (8 yrs and older) $100, dogs 1 - 7 years $150, altered puppies up to a year $200 (plus $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit for unaltered puppies). All references (vet and personal) will be checked. ALL pets in your home must be current with all vaccinations and be spay/neutered. If you are approved you will be contacted by phone or email.Shelter locationWe are open every day (365 days a year) from 4pm to 6pm for you to meet and interact with our shelter animals. If that time does not work for you give us a call and we can arrange something. Finding that perfect furever home for our shelter animals is our number one priority.
