Quint is a quirky teenage guy! When he arrived at his foster home he was very spicy and wanted nothing to do with the humans living there, but with a lot of time and patience he has made great progress. He will allow his humans to pet and love on him on his own schedule (he is especially accommodating in the morning when he is hungry). He is very food motivated and it is a great tool to get to know him. He will sleep next to his humans at night but isn’t a lap cat, preferring to nap nearby. He still has a ways to go and needs a family who will give him the time and space to get to know him. Quint LOVES other cats and needs to be in a home with another energetic cat or kitten. He follows his foster family’s cat around like an annoying little brother but she’s older and not much fun. Because of his skittish nature he would do better in a quieter home with adults and older children. Quint would love to have a fish tank in his new home, but it’s not a deal-breaker. He will spend hours watching the fish swim and unsuccessfully trying to get into the fish tank! He is a tidy fellow and also tries to sweep up around his food bowl when he is done eating. His favorite toys are the laser pointer (big hit), feather wands and anything he can chase (crinkle ball and toy mouse). If you have it in your heart to give Quint a chance, he will continue to make progress becoming more comfortable around humans as he is getting better and better each day!
