Hello, I'm BOOTS! I wasn't always a shelter cat. Once upon a time, I lived in a magical world where cats could talk and we ruled the kingdom. One day, a mischievous wizard turned me into a regular cat and sent me to this world. I'm gentle and mellow, with a dash of goofiness. I'm also incredibly loyal and friendly. I love belly rubs and cuddles, they make me purr like a tractor. I've been told I have a heart as big as the moon. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love and loyalty. Will you be my magic? Let's create our own enchanting tale together.Adoption processAdoption fee for cats/kittens is $75.00. Fee includes mandatory spay/neuter surgery, post-op pain medication, vaccinations, rabies shot, dewormings, flea preventive treatment, socialization, and litter box training. We also do long distance adoptions to adopters in the northeast and other areas with fees ranging from $150-200, depending on area. This fee includes all of the vetting above as well as FIV/FelV Combo Test, vet check, fecal test, health certificate to travel.Shelter locationThe shelter is located at 820 Isaac Park Road in Louisa, Kentucky. The shelter is open Monday - Friday from 10AM-2:30PM. Weekend and evening appointments for cats are available by calling (606) 571-XXXX.
