Josie is a silly, feisty, small-sized bundle of fun. She LOVES playing with toys and running around after the other cats/kittens. She especially loves rolling around in the cat tunnel and playing with her little stuffed animals. She carries them around, tosses them around, and likes to bathe them in her water dish. Josie is a shy girl but enjoys getting pet on her head and behind the ears. She can be picked up and handled but is not a fan of being held for long periods of time. She has suffered a right eye trauma as a kitten, and the issue is managed with eye drops. She has expressive eyes that will melt your heart. Josie needs a quiet/calm household as she is skittish of people and loud noises. She loves to play and would do well with other cats/kittens. She would love another cat to chase around, but a home with small children is not recommended as it might make her nervous. Josie was born around the end of February 2022 and is currently being fostered in New Haven. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV* All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our staff members. ****Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references. The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment.
