MusketeerOn December 22, 2022, I was found as a stray cat in Fishers. Never having been a cherished pet, I was understandably frightened. I'm the first to say I am not a feral cat, just unfamiliar with sharing space with a human. I am 2-years-old, already neutered, and happy to use a litterbox. I am shiny black with enormous golden eyes and a few sprinkles of individual white hairs. I have been sharing an office with the Animal Care Manager, and she and I have reached an agreement. I stay in my cubby whenever she is in the office. When I am alone, I have a rousing hearty party, spreading the toys all around, destroying those dastardly feather cat-doohickies, having fun seeing how high litter can go into the air, walking all over her paperwork, looking out the window, and leaving pawprints on everything. Occasionally, I will stroll out from under the desk and walk right by her as a little tease. I was in rough shape when I first arrived, but I am much healthier and feeling good now. If you are a very patient person who does not mind having a cat that takes....his.....time.... getting...used....to...a...new...place, then I might be the perfect cat for you. 5-10-23
