Hi, my name is Silver! When I was a baby, my friends at Houston Pets Alive! found my sister and me living outside and decided to bring us in and give us a chance at a comfy indoor life. When I first came inside, I had never met a human before and thought they were big and scary, but I've been living in a foster home for a few months now and I figured out that humans are awesome - especially because they give me food. I am still not a fan of super loud noises or quick movements, but when my foster family is hanging out on the couch or in bed, I am a total snuggle bug. I love a fuzzy blanket or a lap to curl up on and I'm playful enough to keep things interesting. I have a BIG dog foster brother and we get along fine, so I'd be OK in a home with a dog. I think I'd prefer an adult only home for now, because quick movements make me a little nervous. I am an inside only kitty. Could I be your new best friend?
