Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment (or visit during our walk-in hours). www.ggohinc.com Mac and his sister, Mitzie came to us as strays that had taken up residence under an older gentleman's home/porch. This gentleman was concerned for their safety with the extreme cold weather we were having as he couldn't take them in. We're thankful he reached out so these two could get proper care and could find their forever, indoor, home(s). Mac is a little nervous still but he is learning to trust that human's aren't a threat but rather a source for love and affection (and good food and treats!). He is accepting of our touch and pets and allows belly rubs and chin scritches. He's a little cautious, but we expect that when strays are suddenly put in a new environment. He's gentle and accepting and we're so proud of him! Mac does fine with other cats and has been socializing with the cats in his designated room here at GGOH - everyone has been very welcoming to him as he's wandered about making new friends. He's been around a small dog who he did well with - large dogs are an unknown. Children that can respect Mac's need to go slow until he's comfortable shouldn't be an issue - highly active children might not be his cup of tea, however. If you're looking for a cat with a laid-back personality, Mac might just be the one for you. He's pretty chill and well, come on, can we say he's pretty darn handsome, too? He sure is! Mac has an approx. DOB of 2/4/2022.
