Born around the 4th of July, and found in a drainage ditch with his siblings Houdini is the perfect balance of social and not. Houdini really enjoys running around and playing with his siblings, and basking in the sunshine from the window in the cat tree. Houdini is the quietest of his siblings and is not very vocal but purrs wonderfully. He will climb up on your lap to get some petting action and will play with your feet but isn’t much of a lap cat. He likes to be where his people are and will snuggle sometimes but most of the time prefers to sleep and lounge in the cat tree in the window. Houdini has been neutered and has received age-appropriate shots. He uses the cat box like a champ, and does well with toddlers, kids and people of all ages. Houdini got his name because he was the first of the litter to be able to escape and get out of their enclosure when they were little. Houdini comes as a bonded pair with his brother and litter mate Scaredy Cat. $125 adoption fee per kitten. Hardest part of rescue is:- Not being able to save every cat.- Finding excellent homes for our rescues. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
