Jasmine is the nice mix of affectionate and independent. For her trusted people she is friendly: face rubs, gives kitty kisses, purrs as soon as she is brushed or petted, and follows you around the house. Jasmine jumps into your lap and stays as long as you keep petting. She knows her name and come when called. She gets along with some female cats, hasn’t met dogs, is shy-avoidant of strangers and men, plus would be best with kids over age eight. Jasmine tolerates brief times of being held. This torby female was born in 2010 and given up by the past owner who kept her as an outdoor/indoor cat. Jasmine might do fine as an only cat or could be adopted with the one-year-old female, Querido, that she likes. She is litter trained. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For Adopters over 65 and Cats over 10yrs, the fee is $50. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).
