Mandy is a very special girl. She was adopted as a kitten but apparently did not receive the socialization she needed and spent the next five years without the affection of the people in the home. Her only true companionship was with another cat. When she came back to PAWS a few months ago, she was shut down, shy and very fearful. With the assistance of one of our amazing fosters, Mandy has made amazing progress--she is playing, accepting pets and learning that humans are not so scary. From the foster: Mandy is a super sweet gal who need some time before she can show you loving she can truly be! She finds new places and people scary at first. She may react in a negative way to you at first, but that is only because she is scared. But don't worry, Mandy would never hurt a fly! She just needs time to adjust to a new environment and to get to know you before she wants pets and play time. Once she settles in, she will want a lot of pets, lay next to you to take a nap and enjoy play time with a wand toy. Are you willing to take some time to get to know and love the gorgeous Mandy?
