Cashew came to us with his siblings in June 2022 after they were trapped near Rolla, MO. At 4 months old, he was diagnosed with FIP, which meant finding a forever home would have to wait. His siblings have all since been adopted, and now finally at 10 months old, Cashew is considered cured of FIP and can start looking for a family of his own. Cashew will be looking for a home with other cat friends to play with. He can still be very unsure of new surroundings and tends to rely on the support of his friends to navigate new experiences. Don't let his timidness fool you though, because he's incredibly affectionate and would love to curl up in a fuzzy blanket and nap with his person. Despite the medical rollercoaster he's been on, he's still a very rambunctious, energetic kitten that loves to wrestle with his friends and cause trouble when he can! He loves to play with toys and watch squirrels out the window. Due to his history of FIP, his future family will need to be prepared to have regular bloodwork monitoring done. Cashew has done well with small dogs, although he's hesitant and takes time to warm up. He has not been tested with larger dogs.
