Meet Diamond! Diamond and her sisters were left at our doorsteps with their mom! They are now ready to be adopted! Diamond is 11 weeks old. She is shy at first, but will warm and is a typical kitten! If you would like to make Diamond a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. DIAMOND'S ADOPTION FEE IS $65The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
