Wendelyn is a beautiful tiger kitty with just the sweetest face! She came to us from a shelter in Tennessee without any littermates and has been a shy girl since she arrived. While in her foster home Wendelyn would mainly keep to herself, enjoying the view from an upstairs window and basking in the sunlight. She does enjoy pets and is a very sweet girl once you give her some time to get to know you and get comfortable in her surroundings. For this reason, we feel Wendelyn would do best in a low-key, quiet household where she can take her time exploring and getting to know her surroundings and new human companions. We do not feel she would be suited to go home to a family with small children at this time.HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
