Violet is no delicate flower! For a tiny kitten who had a lot of setbacks in her few months of life, she has a lot of spunk and sass! She loves to climb, cuddle, scamper, explore, wrestle, nap, play with toys, and do all around every kind of kitten-related activity. Violet did come down with a serious upper respiratory as a kitten that even the strongest antibiotics had a hard time kicking. As a result, one of her eyes in permanently damaged. But, that hasn't slowed her down! Her ophthamologist said the healing her eye has done is nothing short of a miracle, and she even has some vision retained. Violet was previously adopted and given the name Samira by her awesome cat mom. Unfortunately, due to a major life change, Violet/Samira needed to come back to the rescue. It was heartbreaking for her and her wonderful original adopter. She's still as sweet and sassy as ever and was clearly loved and spoiled. She's looking for her next forever home who will be willing to dote on her and love her even with her one wonky miracle eye. ##1270173##Adoption processWe have a highly responsive team of administrators who review and respond to applications often within 1-3 days and are willing and able to address any questions or concerns about the processShelter locationWe are a foster homes-based rescue, so outside of adoption events we require an approved adoption application prior to meeting cats and kittens in person.
