Topaz is a very friendly male cat who is great with kittens. He had an ordeal with FIP, a disease long considered fatal, but we made the decision to pursue treatment and he made a full recovery. He was 10 pounds when he was sick and now tips the scale over 14! Topaz would like to help you with good food safety practices – he will remind you to not leave food out on the stove. Topaz gets along well with most cats but can be a little intimidating to nervous cats as he might be insistent on a game of tag. But he also loves to nap and lounAdoption processAs a small rescue with limited staff and volunteers, we are working on streamlining our adoption process to match cats and adopters as efficiently as possible, so we can save more cats left behind on the streets.Shelter locationOur pets are fostered in local private homes, or occasionally in cat cafes or pet store adoption spaces for a limited time. When you are ready to meet our cats, the details will be arranged.
