Socks is a vibrant 2.5 month old brown tabby kitten kitten with purrs to spare. She loves pets, playtime, and nibbling on toes. Her confidence comes from her sister Harlequin. There's never a dull moment with these two around! Socks is a busy kitten that loves to explore. Socks has not had any exposure to dogs or children, so it is unknown how she'll do with either. She's met the resident cats at her foster home and matches their energy. If they hiss, she hisses. If they're chill, she's chill. Socks and her sister Harlequin are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $300 for a bonded pair. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for these cats, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.##2184783##Adoption processAHS does not do same-day adoptions. We provide a form called a “Statement of Interest” for potential adopters to fill out. When completed, this form is reviewed by an AHS volunteer (the animal’s Case Manager) who will contact the potential adopter with any additional questions and arrange a meeting if it looks like a good match. those who look like a good match.Adoption fees for DOGS are:Puppies (up to age 18 months): $400(plus $170 spay/neuter deposit)Adult (18 months - 8 years old): $325Seniors (8 years and up): $200(There is an additional $170 spay/neuter deposit for Adults/Seniors not already neutered/spayed.)Adoption fees for CATS are:Kittens up to 6 months.-$200Young adult cats 7 months -3 years $175Adults cats - 4-7 years -$150Seniors cats-8 and up. $100Fee includes basic shots, spay or neuter, and microchipAll cats are FIV/FELV testedShelter locationPlease check our website or join our Facebook or Instagram page to see any of our upcoming events !
