Much like his namesake, Snape has been through some really rough times and as a result, can be a bit defensive. Snape is a complicated, enigmatic, fiercely loyal cat who is learning to trust again. Sometimes Snape can be pretty grumpy, so he needs to go to a home where his personal space is respected, so kids are definitely a no for him. Snape has lived with other cats, but would do fine as an only kitty, too. Everyone is spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All dogs receive a one-year license, collar, and leash. Meet Our AnimalsTo meet an animal at our Shelter, please make an appointment by calling 541-265-XXXX. One of our friendly Animal Care Specialists will work with you to find a good match for your family. Please bring all members of your family (including dogs if you are adopting another dog; dogs must also be licensed) for a socially distance appropriate meet and greet. If you rent, we will need landlord permission for the adoption. How Do the Animals Come to Us?Animals come to us lost as strays, surrendered by owners, or in protective custody due to abuse or neglect. We place all of our adoptable animals in homes or in the Second Chance Program (transporting to a rescue organization or another shelter), and we never euthanize animals for space. We provide extensive medical treatment, thanks to our Medical Fund, and all possible behavior modification training to give every animal their chance at a new life.
