My name is Smokie. I was dumped by the YMCA in Ferguson where there was already a feral colony. The caretaker saw that I was pregnant and very friendly. She got me to my foster dad who started loving on me right away and made me feel comfortable. He could feel the babies indise me moving. A week later, I gave birth to 4 kittens, one of which was still born. My dad was petting me afterwards and noticed there was still movement in my stomach. When he got me to the vet later that day, they saw that there was still a large kitten inside. That kitten was too large for me to birth, so the vet did a C section. That baby did not survive. I love my three babies and am taking good care of them. I love attention and have a friend who visits me through the bars of my cage. My dad smooches on me and holds me. As of Sep 2, 2024, I am approximately 11 months young.
