Slate P, his mom, LuLu, and his four siblings, Beatrix, Ajax Bluebell and Willow were all surrendered by their owner. Slate resembles a Russian Blue short haired. Sometimes he gets a very serious expression right before he launches an attack on the rest of the kittens. Adorable. Neither Slate nor any of his siblings have met a dog, so if you have one, it needs to be cat/kitten-friendly! Slate P. has had all age appropriate vaccines and has been treated for parasites, he will be tested for FeLUK/FIV, neutered and micro-chipped when he is old enough. NOTE: Kittens cannot be accurately tested for FIV/FeLeuk until at least 10-12 weeks of age. S-PCHS does not allow untested kittens to go to their forever homes until they show a negative test. Applications may be submitted for review, but kitten adoptions will only be finalized when after age appropriate testing is complete. As with all YOUNG kittens, SPCHS will not permit Slate P. to be adopted by a family with children under 7 years old.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Slate, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
