Silver Grass would love to be adopted with a sibling to help him with his confidence. He has come a long way from the hissing kitten that arrived at our rescue. His poor mama was found at a construction site with him and two siblings and brought to us for care and safety. Just two days later, two more babies, Lemon Grass and Bermuda Grass, were discovered and added to her brood. Silver Grass is easy to handle and pet, but still hisses when spooked (and at his recent vet check-up ). He is getting socialized in a foster home and handled by a toddler regularly, but would love to be adopted with a friend. Now, they’re all together again in a foster home. They will soon be available for pre-adoption and can go home once they are 8 weeks old and spayed/neutered. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
