Sammy is a pretty tuxedo kitty who came to us after her owner sadly passed away. She can have a little cat-titude at times but she allows us to interact with grooming and petting her extremely soft fur. Sammy enjoys chasing the laser and a good stalk and capture game with other toys in the room but generally is very happy by the window or on a high perch watching the world go by. She’s not the cuddly type but does like people to be around her. Sammy is an independent girl patiently waiting for an understanding human companion to share their home with her.Adoption processAll Cats and Kittens placed by PCS are: Spayed or neutered prior to placement Examined by a veterinarian Tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV Dewormed Vaccinated for Feline Distemper Vaccinated for Rabies (if old enough) Microchipped The adoption fee is $150 which covers a portion of the services that are provided for each animal. An adoption counselor will contact you as soon as possible after receipt of the completed form to guide you through the adoption process.Shelter locationAdoptions are by appointment only. When your adoption questionnaire is received, an adoption counselor will work with you to help you choose the right pet. Adoption fees are charged to help defray the cost of care.
