SAM is a gray, short hair, tiger striped male who has a little Bengal look markings. Sam loves everything, humans, small dogs, exploring, you name it he is into it. You can put him in a new place and he will just start exploring on his own. He hasn't met a toy that he doesn't like. When you open that little can of cat food he comes running. He has the sweetest and most fun personality. Sam came with his sister FLUFFBUTT to foster from an unstable home situation, but he is a happy little guy who is afraid of nothing. Sam will not disappoint you. He has the personality and affection anyone would love. SAM has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Beginning September 20th, you may meet SAM inside our partner Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium, 136 Oakway Rd, Eugene OR 97401 (Open 10-6, Tues-Sun). Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet. All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.Shelter locationOur cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 12:30-2:30pm, Sat.-Sun.
