With my thick, soft fur and round little face, everyone loves me. I am a 4-month-old little boy who is ready for his forever family to play with. I get along great with other kitties and love to play with them too. My foster mom plays with those string toys with me, and I love to leap and twist in the air to grab them mid-flight! Mom tries to catch me on video, but I’m quick. I think she did some slow motion of me leaping in the air. At night I am always found on my foster mom’s lap, curled up or stretched out while she watches TV, both of us unwinding from a day filled with fun, food, treats and naps. Well, I take the naps; my mom doesn’t seem to get any naps. I will never understand a day without naps. What’s with that? Maybe you have the perfect home for me? I might be a little shy at first, but give me a treat or a string toy and we will be best friends forever. We attempt to match the animal's characteristics with the family and their lifestyle. We require an application form, which becomes part of the adoption contract, a personal or phone interview, veterinarian reference if applicable, home visit, and an additional agreement about how the animal will be treated. Cats must be indoors only, not declawed. Dogs must be fenced or leashed when outdoors and treated as part of the family--indoors as much as possible, and always at night. Adopter agrees to provide regular veterinary care, and to return the animal to us if they ever give it up. We reserve the right to check on the animal's welfare from time to time, with appropriate notice.Shelter locationAs a volunteer group, we do not have a facility. Our animals reside in foster homes. We show them at local events and by appointment.
