This 2.5 year old boy is adorable and so special! He has 6 toes on each back paw, 6 on one front and 7 on the other! He absolutely LOVES to play, especially with wand toys. If he isn't chasing the daily catnip mouse or spring toy, you can find Popcorn settling into a comfy spot for a good nap. He would like us to note that a nice window where he can soak up some sun and keep an eye on feathered friends would be delightful! Popcorn is incredibly sweet but a little shy at first His ideal home would be patient with him while he warms up. He is looking for her own purrsonal cat whisperer to bring him out of his shell and show his true self. He would done fine with older children, but is selective about other felines and may do well as your one and only kitty. He loves food of any kind - wet food, dry food, treats! We think that just might be the key to heart, other than his favorite toy. And we can't emphasize enough not to forget about those adorable extra smooth grey toes. He is the most adorable polydactyl we've ever met! Popcorn has his bags packed and is ready to come home. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.Adoption processAll potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.Shelter locationAll Ten Lives cats are located in foster homes throughout Rhode Island and available for meet and greets after an approved adoption application.
