Meet Piper and Kimber, a bonded pair of shy kitties who lean on each other for confidence and comfort. While both are still learning to trust, Piper is a little braver, often exploring and leading the way while Kimber follows close behind. They flinch at touch and try to hide during handling, but their connection with each other is unbreakable—Piper can’t come fully out of her shell without Kimber, and Kimber feels secure only with Piper nearby. They’re not yet interested in toys or treats around people, but with patience and a quiet home, they have so much potential to grow together.Adoption processOur shelter is located at 1431 East Ferry Street, Detroit, Michigan, 48211. Adoptions are daily from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Please arrive by 3:00pm. Bring your entire human family, but please leave other pets at home. Adoption counselors will review with you how to slowly introduce your new pet to any pets you might already have at home.
