Newt is a very relaxed cat just looking for someone to cuddle with. Newt does enjoy chasing after toys from time to time and love sitting up high in a cat tree where he can watch birds. October 12, 2024, 12:52 pmAdoption processAll potential adopters must fill out an application and go through an interview. Our adoption facilitators walk them through the shelter and help them find the perfect animal that would best match their homes. After a potential adopter signs up for a specific animal, there is a cool-down period. We do veterinarian and reference checks, background cheks and also speak with the landlord. Please note applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for adopting a cat from Happy Endings. Adoption fees:** Kittens (under 7 months) $170** 7 months to 8 years $100** 8+ years $60** Adopt two or more and receive 25% off the total Services included in the adoption fee:- Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus tests- Distemper Shots (age appropriate)- Rabies Booster (age appropriate)- Dewormer- Checked for fleas and ticks- Wellness check-up- Microchip- Spay/Neuter Under no circumstances do our animals leave the shelter the same day they are signed up for.Shelter locationWe are located at 5349 Forest Home Avenue and are open on Thursdays - 6 PM to 9 PM and on Saturdays - 11 AM to 4 PM.
