Mou, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Los Angeles, California
Los Angeles, CA
Mou is a lovebug of a cat with an adorable cow-spotted pattern. He's around 4 years old, meaning that he's past his rambunctious kitten years and ready to settle down! The only thing he loves more than food is cuddles– careful with this one, or he might want to snooze on your lap all day! Nothing makes him happier than a fuzzy blanket and a warm room to spend the day in. You'll usually find him napping on a couch cushion or grooming himself (he likes to keep things tidy). This is probably the chillest cat you'll ever meet! He'd do best with somebody who's patient, gentle, loving and willing to give him the attention he needs. Mou is also FIV+ (see below), which isn't a big deal; he will just need a good, healthy diet and to stay inside so that he's not exposed to illnesses. He promises to give you endless amounts of love and loyalty (and lap cuddles) if you choose him!*FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is transmitted through a deep bite or in utero. It is typically seen in cats that have spent a great deal of time outdoors (like Mou) where the likelihood of altercation is high. Cats with this condition can lead long, normal lives, but it is important to keep them indoors and healthy. FIV leads to increased susceptibilty to infections and other diseases; if the cat is fed a high quality diet and kept free from parasites and other dangers, then the quality and length of life is excellent. Mou is not on any medications. Interested in adopting?
