For The Cats' Sake MINNOW is one of the sweetest and friendliest of cats you could meet, and is so happy to greet us and jump up on the sofa to get some love. She will meow at us and lock those lovely green eyes on ours. MINNOW is close to MONET, a male flame point and housemate. You can see Monet getting some loving licks from MINNOW in the photo. They would be a lovely pair to adopt together, both of them being calm and affectionate. We are putting our wish out into the cat adopter universe and hoping it connects! Minnow is five years young and we initially rescued her from a hoarding situation where there were 20 kittens and many cats! You can see the photo of Minnow when she was first rescued as a kitten. She was then adopted and lived with her adopter until sadly this year he unexpectedly passed away. Our group took Minnow and her housemates in, and all of them are much loved and loving. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit the cats/kittens in their foster homes so they see them in a comfortable situation. In many instances a volunteer will deliver the cat/kitten to their new home to assist the family in preparing their home getting the adoption off to a good start.
