Linguini is a sassy, playful little wild cat who loves a wand toy and chasing ping pong balls. She will snuggle and purr briefly when held but just really prefers to play! I wouldn't say she's super bonded to her sister Lasagna but I definitely think she'd struggle as an only cat. Linguini is very social with her sister and is interested in my adult cats. Although she hisses at the dogs in my home (both big and small, both neutral towards her) she's very interested in them and could probably learn to live neutrally with dogs in a home! Linguini is a little skittish of fast movements and loud noises so I'm not sure how well she'd do with small kids in a home. With other confident cats around she might be totally fine with kids but on her own I think she'd get progressively more shy. She's definitely got a super fun hot tamale little personality and whoever adopts her is going to have a lot of fun watching her play! These animals have been rescued by Animal Services Officers and citizens who have been unable to locate an owner. Based on Utah state law, we must hold every animal for at least five days to give the owner an opportunity to redeem their lost pet. If the pet is not claimed during that time, and the animal is healthy and friendly, it will become available for adoption. During COVID-19, our shelter is only open by appointment only. Please contact XXXX@slco.org to coordinate a time to meet a pet. Adoptions are offered during our operating hours Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM. Potential adopters should plan for some time to meet with their new pet before starting the adoption process. Please plan to be at the shelter before 5:30 PM to meet with a new pet.
