Thunder and Lightening were born to a community cat named Rainy. One of our faithful volunteers has been providing trap/neuter/return for the community cats in her area, and came upon this little family. They were all very sweet, and since the kittens were so young, she knew that they deserved a chance at finding forever homes, where they would be safe and loved. Unfortunately, the kitties tested positive for FIV. Though they can live long, healthy, normal lives if always kept indoors, so many people don't know the facts about the virus, and won't give an FIV positive kitty a chance. FIV is not contagious to dogs or humans, and it is hard to spread to other cats. In fact, once a cat is neutered, it is highly unlikely to ever pass to another cat. Please go online and read the facts about FIV, and please consider giving these extremely loving kittens the life they deserve. Also note, that if the kittens are tested again 6 months from now, it is very possible that the virus will have cleared their systems and they will no longer be positive!! Thanks!The adoption fee is $95 in cash, and a good vet reference is required. Saving Graces 4 Felines adoptable cats are spayed or neutered, before adoption is finalized. They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV, are up to date on vaccines, and have been treated for worms and fleas. They have also been micro-chipped.
