Lavendar was an unusual rescue who came to us from an organization that usually sends us baby dogs instead of adult cats. Our best estimate is that Lavendar was born around July of 2017. She’s friendly and affectionate, and her club foot doesn’t hinder her much. She managed to survive to 7 years old, but she will be so much better off with an indoor life of ease. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** August 19, 2024, 9:50 pmAdoption processAll interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.Shelter locationCheck out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.
