Houdini is a gorgeous 4.5-5 month old seal point snowshoe. He is friendly but cautious at first in new environments. He is very playful and enjoys being a lap kitten. Houdini has been raised in a home with other cats and dogs. Houdini is litter trained, as well as neutered and current on vaccines, deworming, and flea prevention.Adoption processThe first step in adopting from Keokuk Animal Services is completing our adoption application. Once approved you can adopt any dog or cat that is ours (there is a 7 day stray holding period.) Our adoption fee is $125 for dogs/$85 for cats which covers over $200 of veterinary care for the animal. When using our contracted veterinarians it covers the first visit with an exam, worming, first feline or canine vaccination and rabies vaccination and the animal's spaying or neutering.Shelter locationKeokuk Animal Services at 249 Carbide Lane in Keokuk, Iowa is open to the public on Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
