Hodges has come so very far from the absolutely terrified tiny kitten he was when he first came to me. He was terrified of everything and everyone! He has taken a long time to warm up and be social with humans - but, he has finally arrived. Hodges is adorable. He has a single white whisker that makes him even more precious! He loves playing with his foster siblings and causing the regular chaos that is typical of all kittens. He has become much more brazen in his curiosity - he loves to explore all things, whether they should be explored or not! He has also learned to love pets and snuggling beside me when I get in bbed. Hodges was born in late May of 2023. He has not been around dogs or children. I do not think Hodges would do well in a home with loud, rambunctious children - he is still prone to bolt and hide when he hears loud noises and presented with unexpected situations. Calm, older children and teenagers would be a perfect fit. As far as dogs go, I think he’d be fine with a calmer dog of any size with proper and patient introductions. I can’t begin to put into words how far this sweet boy has come - he is so incredibly special and I have no doubt that he will provide his new family with as much love and joy as he has provided me. The rewarding experience of patiently showing an animal that you love them, will never harm them and that you are willing to let them take as much time as they need to trust your intentions, is indescribable. If you have experienced, you know what I mean - if you haven’t, you should. Hodges will not come into your home and immediately jump in your lap for snuggles. He will need patience in any new environment. He will become your best friend and soul mate, if you give him the chance!
