Gunther is an adorable male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on June 28, 2019 along with his mother (Ingrid) and four siblings after they were found in the Marietta Ohio area. Gunther and his brother/sisters were tiny one-week old babies that day and weighed just 0.4 lbs. Sadly, two of his sisters did not survive. Gunther (as well as his brother Gatsby and his sister Gretchen) survived and are happy, socialized kittens thanks to their wonderful mother Ingrid.Gunther has a gray short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, white paws, a long ringed tail, and a sweet kitten face with a brown velvet nose, a white mustache, and long white whiskers. This handsome young man has a delightful personality and dearly loves his brother (Gatsby) with whom he is sharing a cage.These photos of Gunther were taken on October 26, 2019.Gunther, Gatsby, and Gretchen were separated from their mother (Ingrid) in early October since they were fully weaned. Momma Ingrid was spayed on October 7, 2019 and is now ready to find a home of her very own.Gunther will be available for adoption after he is neutered. He is tentatively scheduled for that procedure on November 4, 2019. Gunther is also available for rescue.Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (XXXX@suddenlink.net).
